Opening Show, Tampere Film Festival.
First off, big congratulations to all the winners of this year’s festival. You can find out about the winning films through this link: WINNERS LIST TFF13
And even bigger congratulations to The Mass of Men (2012), which won the Grand Prix, and also one of the many films supported by the British Council Film Short Support Scheme.
Also, here are some photos from the festival:
Welcome to Tampere, Finland!
Much of the festival’s screenings were located on this site and also very close to the Guest Info. It’s very easy to get around the many other locations of the events and screenings, within walking distance of each other.
There was a long queue during the first day to get accreditation badge and tickets to screenings.
Amazing lounge, great place to watch films!
Last day in Tampere.
Second day showing of Bagong Silang. Apparently, the cinema was almost full for this screening.
Tampere Film Festival was just bustling with lots of energy. Saw great films and met inspiring filmmakers from all over the world. It was such a great honour for us to be part of the festival and we are very thankful for the opportunity for letting us share Bagong Silang to a wider audience. And equally thankful to British Council Film Travel Grant for letting us get closer and present the story of Bagong Silang to the festival audience.
Congratulations to the organisers and everyone who participated in this year’s festival!
